I hope everyone understands what PETA really is. It is an animal RIGHTS organization that exists to raise millions to pay their high-end executives but does nothing for animals in need. PETA kills more animals each year than it helps. They put out propaganda filled with poorly researched half-truths to tug at the heart strings of people and to get money out of them. Do some research on what PETA really does before you blindly follow them and any Hollywood personality that doesn’t take the time to do the same. There is a HUGE difference between animal RIGHTS and animal WELFARE. HSUS is nothing but the political arm of PETA, so do some real research on them as well. Their website, if you dig deep enough, says that they do not donate any of their money to any animal shelters….that should tell you right there what kind of “rescue” organization they really are.
